Deborah Chen  L.Ac MAOM - Specialist in Men's Health Acupuncture

  Deborah began her Chinese medical training in China at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHUTCM) in 2005. The same year, she began studying Chen style Taiji Quan with Cheng Jie Feng, master instructor at SHUTCM, and was fortunate to be accepted for private tutoring with acupuncture master Gong Guo Xian. 

In 2009, she returned to the US to earn her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Nutrition degrees from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. She is currently working on a clinical doctorate degree at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, in Portland OR.

Her experiences within both the American and Chinese health care systems, as well as the unparalleled training she received from academic studies, allows her an enhanced appreciation and understanding of the medicine. Deborah is certified in Clean Needle Technique and a national board-certified practitioner in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine (NCCAOM diplomate).
