Khadijah is a licensed acupuncturist and board certified herbalist with an interest in helping people with pain disorders, anxiety, autoimmune disorders,  and creative blocks. The embodiment of creative solutions is the main component to healing. Chinese medical theory is a reflection on nature including the cycles inherent in the human organism. The practice of Chinese medicine is the application of  philosophy to benefit body and mental processes.The metaphorical language the art employs can help us to understand  how our experiences, whether mental or physical, are created and resolved in natural processes. It is a method of healing that integrates reflection and imagination with the beauty of living.
Khadijah Kysia is licensed acupuncturist, board certified herbalist, and poet with a Bachelor Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (Chicago). Motivated  by the concept of ‘artist as healer’, Khadijahbelieves the  potential to heal each other is innate. Her workshops encourage the  relationship between mind-body wellness, self expression, and community.
